Before I head to sleep, here’s what I got done today!

I decided on doing Terezi’s cane, since I don’t have the time to sew a Scalemate- Started off with a styrofoam cone from Michael’s.

I’m using Pumpkin carving tools to make the head. And sandpaper. Foam shavings are like snowman herpes. Once you’ve got ‘em on you, they just fucking stay there.

Looking less like a space ship and more like Pyralspite.

Painted the head. (I covered all the foam in tape. The red splotch on the side is where I did not want the internet to see where I hung my bra and did not realize until later.)

Coming along nicely. Probably finish painting it tomorrow.

My printer is yet to be hooked up, so I found a big image of the Libra sign on her shirt online and traced it from my monitor. Cut it out, and then retraced it onto a piece of cardboard. Came out nicely.

A quick test reveals the stencil works just as planned.

Third coat of ‘deep turquoise’ fabric paint.

Lovely.
