THE FRUIT OF MY LABORS

So as soon as the god tier hoodies started coming out I was like BALLING let me just start sprite editing up a storm over here. Lets see, notes…

Karkat: He’s the Knight, so it was as simple as recoloring Dave’s outfit. His wings are just droplet looking with a blood pattern.
Terezi: Seer uniform, with flowy, dragon-esque type wings.
Equius: Heir outfit. I tried to keep up with a kind of ‘this guy is torn between being picture perfect and the most fucked of up’. So one wing is torn, he’s missing a button. Orange shoes because orange is the adjacent color to blue on the color wheel.
Nepeta: Adorable in all forms. Kitty type hood, if her wings were spread, they’d make a heart shape.
Kanaya: Oh she was so much fun. She’s a Sylph, which is an elegant woman, so I gave her a dress and a lovely little shawl/cape/hood combo. Her wings are just edited versions of the virgin mother grub’s wings.
Eridan: This asshole was the most work. For Prince I went with an over-the-top-unnecessary hood/cape. He’s got a belted tunic and tights with boots. His wings are vaguely inspired by flying fish.
Feferi: The witch outfit! Since Jade has the Ruby slippers, I gave Feferi the Silver Slippers like in the original Wizard of Oz books. Kind of keeping with the witch theme and calling to the fact that the Trolls came before the kids. Her wings are purely based on a Lionfish’ fins.
Gamzee: Clown is all I went for. His wings have a rather sinister face in the pattern.
Tavros: The Page was funny to do because it’s essentially a servant boy. So I put together a kind of not-as-fancy version of the Knight outfit. Pages would have served Knights and had the chance to train to become one when they reached a certain age, so it seemed appropriate to make him a kind of knight-in-training. He’s got a similar hood, a shorter cape, belted tunic and boots. He’s got the summoner’s wings.
Sollux: Everybody always puts him in robes, but I liked the idea of him having a coat with pants. Kind of like a Battle Mage. I gave him Dragonfly wings, since they have the four segment thing going on, and his colors compliment Eridan’s, since Doom is opposite of Hope. Eridan has the same color scheme deal going on.

Obviously I didn’t make Aradia and Vriska, but I tossed them in there for shits and giggles ANYWAY.
